Dedication Shadow Box
One of our clients approached us about a shadow box dedicated to their veteran service members containing a placard, wristbands, and most notably, a flag box. My father-in-law is a veteran, and my husband pointed out to me that the flag folding procedure is very detailed and specific. I looked into this procedure and realized that there are at least a dozen folds and proposed that we should test how thick it would actually be. We got our hands on a real flag and folded it into a triangle as specified and figured out that both the shadow box and flag box needed to be 1/2" deeper than initially designed to fit the flag. I think being interested in the needs of my customer helped immensely with the success of the project.
